"I though the overall process was great and it was easy. I think the best thing that came out was looking at ways to manage our biosolids residuals since it is such an large energy usage to haul, transport, and dewater. Using, natural drying methods is definitely worth exploring."

"The assessment was a smooth process. They were very thorough in finding the places we could save energy. This gave us some focus on the things we needed to do to reduce our energy usage. Putting some numbers to the process helped to implement the changes."

"The team that came out to the building was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and competent. The continued support and suggestions have made this process possible. One thing not listed on here is we did contact and have DTE do a steam trap survey based on the team's recommendation."

"I think the assessment went very well. Students were very engaged and developed valid and demonstrable energy efficiency recommendations."

"Thank you to your amazing team to help us determine areas we can make improvements. The whole experience was very beneficial to our company. We will be implementing a lot of your recommendations to save us energy and money."

"Thank you for allowing us this opportunity. It was very beneficial to have experts in the industry go through each of the buildings and provide us with cost effective solutions. The estimated investment and simple payback section is very helpful in determining an order to complete recommendations."

"Overall, we had a very positive experience with the assessment process. It was useful to have a third-party perspective in providing opportunities for improvement. This has led us to implement projects including submitting a grant to EGLE."

"The B & P Team greatly appreciated the IAC energy assessment. We would have liked a little more knowledge of solar systems to accurately decide if we should pursue the project. How well they work. Testimonials from other companies that have solar systems. How well they perform and the associated cost savings. How much should solar systems cost per watt?"

"The process was well organized and professional. Other recommendations were made including the replacement or sealing of several man doors. Our biggest offender was the double door outside of the cafeteria which we had replaced. We are also replacing our current air compressor and I have asked to include heat recovery as part of the quote which was also a recommendation of the team."

"The assessment team exhibited professionalism and creative thinking in their review of our coffee manufacturing/roasting facility. As backdrop, Paramount's facility is a combination of old buildings located in downtown Lansing, MI. Due to their age, the buildings were not designed or constructed with any thought given to energy conservation or efficiency. MSU's team provided multiple projects for implementation that conserve costs and reduce environmental impact. Many of the projects we can implement with our own resources. We have also obtained federal grants for two of the projects that will hopefully be implemented by local third party contractors. Overall, we were very pleased with the work done by MSU and the outcomes. We continue to work with members of the IAC to help individual projects. ""

"We found this assessment to be very beneficial as it forced us to look at our energy usage as a whole. We’ve implemented some motion sensor lights and are looking at some more efficient motors."

"Thanks again to you and your team. We checked all the doors throughout the Facility and replaced the sweeps and weathstrips on several main doors and replaced the weatherstriping on all the overhead doors... The building is now considerably easier to heat."

"I would like to thank you and your team for the energy assessment you provided to our company. It was a joy to work with you and your team as we reviewed the opportunities for energy savings within our facility. The assessment report that you prepared for us was very descriptive. We have acted on some of these items already and we are working toward the rest in the upcoming year. I was impressed with your team's professional approach, as it was a superb representation of Michigan State University. We appreciated the opportunity to start a relationship with Michigan State University and look forward to growing our relationship moving forward."

"The MSU team was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in assisting with pushing some projects along. Their data was used in other areas of the plant as well, mainly with a renewable energy installation we are considering for on-site installation. I couldn’t be more happy with their professionalism and dedication to their craft. Job well done!!"
